Alejandro D. Gallegos,  42, of Santa Fe, New Mexico, passed away unexpectedly on August 25, 2026.

Alejandro was a kind, caring, and loving man who touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He loved his family deeply and, most of all, cherished his beautiful children. His love, laughter, and memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Alejandro was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Herrera; grandmother, Corinne Romero; grandfathers, Dennis Herrera and Alejandro Gallegos; and stepbrother, Devon Potter.

He is survived by his father, Danny Gallegos (Bonnie); his beloved children, Larissa Gallegos, Lynette Gallegos, Antonio Baca (Chrystal, mother of his children), Lyndsey Gallegos, Alejandro Gallegos, Andres Gallegos, and Alya Gallegos (Elizabeth, mother of his children).

He is also survived by his sisters, Andrea Gallegos, Heather Potter, and Lori Chavez (Eddie); grandmothers, Frances Espinoza and Angela Herrera; stepmothers, Linda Potter and Eva Baeza (Johnny); as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

Alejandro will be remembered for his kind heart, his caring spirit, and the love he had for his family. His greatest joy was his children, and the love he shared with them will continue to live on through their hearts and memories.

He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His memory will forever be cherished by all who loved him.
