Anthony Freddie Herrera, 67, of Santa Fe, NM, passed away on June 9, 2025. Born on July 30, 1957, in Santa Fe to Fred and Erlinda Herrera, Anthony was a proud graduate of Santa Fe High School. At just 17 years old, he enlisted in the United States Coast Guard, where he faithfully served and later earned a degree in technical engineering.

Anthony was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Erlinda Herrera; his sister, Roslin Garcia; his brother, Peter Herrera; and his partner, Jeanie Herrera. He is survived by his sister, Roberta Ulibarri; his brothers, Andrew Herrera and Patrick Herrera; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends who will remember him fondly.

Anthony had a strong work ethic and spent his life doing what he enjoyed, painting, working on cars, and taking on various jobs. He also had a special bond with his cats, who were always by his side. His quiet presence and hands-on spirit will be missed by all who knew him.

Please join us for a Mass July 24th, 2025 at 10:00AM at the New Chapel at San Isidro Parish in Santa Fe NM. Reception to follow at the American Legion 1601 Berry Ave, Santa Fe NM. Burial at 2:00PM at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
