Cheri Roybal

Cheri Lee Roybal  June 17, 1981 – August 5, 2025

Cheri Lee Roybal of Pecos, New Mexico, passed away unexpectedly on August 5, 2025, in Glorieta, at the age of 44. Cheri was known for her big heart, her sense humor, and her ability to light up any room. 

She loved music, cooking, and being surrounded by family. Above all, she was a devoted mother and grandmother who lived life her own way. 

She is survived by her husband Dave Romero children, Jocelyn Baca and C.J. Montano her grandchildren, her mother Inez Quintana, step dad Matthew Quintana, and her siblings Chris Roybal, Daniel Quintana, Cristina Rascon, and Jolene Quintana and God mother Berna salas and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Roybal, and her uncle, Antonio Roybal and Rosa Valencia. Her memory will live on in the joy she brought to all who knew her.
