Daniel Robert Wheeler Jr.

Daniel Robert Wheeler Jr., affectionately known by his friends and family as "Crazy," was born on August 14, 1982, in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This vibrant soul spent his entire life in the community he cherished. Daniel was a remarkable individual, celebrated for his humorous personality and quirky nature. He possessed a childlike spirit that brought joy to those around him, creating countless cherished memories. Despite his sometimes unruly demeanor, his loved ones embraced and adored him just as he was, a testament to the warmth and love he cultivated throughout his life.

Daniel sadly passed away on April 9, 2025. His absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him. He leaves behind his mother, Cathy Wheeler, and siblings, his twin sister Valerie Wheeler and sister Audrey Wheeler, as well as his brother, James Wheeler. He was a devoted father to his beloved daughter, Serenidy Wheeler, and a caring grandfather to his grandchildren, Malachi Joy and Amorissa.

In addition to his immediate family, Daniel is survived by his grandmothers, Irene Wheeler and Carmen Chavez, who cherished him dearly, alongside many cousins who will surely hold his memory close to their hearts. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Wheeler Sr., and his grandfather, Benny Chavez.

Daniel's unique presence enriched the lives of his family and friends. A celebration of his life will be held privately, honoring the irreplaceable spirit he embodied. He leaves behind not just memories but an enduring legacy of laughter, love, and cherished connections that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. His spirit will be greatly missed, but his laughter and joy will live on in the stories shared among his loved ones.
