It is with great sadness that the family of DeAngelo Martin Aragon (27) announce his passing on
Thursday, July 18, 2024 in Bloomfield, New Mexico.
DeAngelo was born in Grants, New Mexico on June 6, 1997 to Natisha Reimers-Archuleta and
Michael Aragon.
He is preceded in death by his father Michael; paternal grandparents Fred and Lucille Aragon; cousins
Nicholas “Nicho” Aragon and PJ Jones.
He is survived by his mother Natisha (Eddie) of Farmington, NM; his children Malena Mae and Marshall
Aragon; brothers Antonio (Clint) of Albuquerque, NM and Marquez Aragon of Farmington, NM; sister
Adeline Carney; mother Sarah (James) Durfey of Aztec, NM; foster father Stephen Priebe; siblings
Madison, Abel and DannieGrace Priebe; maternal grandmother Beverly Reimers of Aztec, NM; maternal
grandfather Larry Reimers of Bloomfield, NM; maternal great-grandmother Sue Wooldridge of High
Rolls, NM; uncle Stephen & Aunt Heather Aragon of Farmington, NM; aunt Kyly Alexander of
Farmington, NM; nieces Ellyka & Cymarah Stewart; as well as several cousins, great-aunts and uncles
and countless friends.
DeAngelo spent most of his childhood in the Aztec area with his brothers Antonio and Marquez. He will
be remembered by his close family for his dimples, his crooked smile that lit up the world, his
compassion and loyalty for his siblings, and his “corny” laugh.
In DeAngelo’s later years, he is known for hanging out with his friends and working concrete jobs with
his stepdad Eddie. He also spent a lot of his time learning auto mechanics, which was a very adamant
hobby of his.
Our family would like to express our deepest and most sincere gratitude for everyone who has taken the
time to reach out to us. The phone calls, text messages, and donations are forever appreciated.
We express our heartfelt appreciation to Santa Fe Funerals and Cremations (Ginene Trujillo) for taking
the utmost care of our beloved ‘JoJo’, and for making this difficult process so comforting and smooth for
our family.
