Celebrating Dennis W. Nathan

June 3, 1949 – July 24, 2026

Dennis W. Nathan, age 77, took his final ride on July 24, 2026. Born on June 3, 1949, Dennis lived life with an open throttle, a steady hand, and an unwavering work ethic. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran who honorably served his country, carrying that same sense of duty, strength, and pride throughout the rest of his life.

He was happiest when his hands were busy—tinkering around the house, completing projects, or bringing new ideas to life. When the tools were put away, Dennis headed for the open road on his motorcycle. He treasured his cross-country trips with his tight-knit crew of friends, especially those quiet, golden hours after the kickstands went down: sharing a cold drink, recounting past trips, and dreaming up where to head next.

His practical wisdom, steady presence, and quick humor will be remembered always by his son, Bart Nathan, his brother, Terry Nathan, and his many lifelong friends.

Friends and family are invited to raise a glass and celebrate Dennis's life on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Elks Lodge (2305 Collins Dr, Las Vegas, NM 87701 )

He will be laid to rest on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 9:45 AM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery 

(501 North Guadalupe Street, Santa Fe, NM 87501).
