Dennis Arturo Peralta Jr

Dennis Arturo Francisco Peralta Jr, also known as “Boy,” departed this life on November 14, 2023, to join our heavenly father at the age of 37.  Dennis was born in Santa Fe, NM on January 17, 1986.  Dennis was a loving and caring person and will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.

Dennis is survived by his son; Dennis Peralta III, his parents; Dennis and Matilda Peralta, sisters; Denise Peralta and Audrey Peralta; nephews; Ezekiel Peralta, and Jaziah Peralta Sanchez (Godson), grandparents; Roberto and Novella Hernandez; Aunts and Uncles; Veronica Hernandez  de Lujan (Daniel), Francella Martinez (Clyde), Simon Peralta (Linda), Ana Peralta and many cousins, and special friends.

Dennis grew up in Santa Fe and attended Pinon Elementary, De Vargas Jr High, Capital High School and graduated from Desert Academy in 2004.  He loved spending time playing with his son, going camping, snowmobiling, fishing and taking rides on his Harley.

A mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Santa Maria De La Paz Catholic church with a Celebration of Life to follow in the hall.

Fill not your heart with pain and sorrow, But remember me in every tomorrow…Remember the joy, the laughter, the smiles, I’ve only gone to rest a little while.  Although my leaving causes pain and grief My going has eased my hurt And given me relief.  So dry your eyes and remember me, Not as I am now, but as I used to be.  Because I will remember you all And Look on with a smile.  Understand in your hearts I’ve only gone to rest a little while.
