Edward Gary Gonzales

Edward Gary Gonzales, a devoted lifelong resident of Pecos New Mexico, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 8, 2025. His loss leaves a deep void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Gary is lovingly survived by his cherished daughters, Kimberly and Melarie Gonzales; his beloved grandsons, Sebastien and Jaiden; his brothers, Albert and Jeffrey Lujan; and his sisters, Carol and Donna. He was a proud uncle, and all of his nieces and nephews will honor his memory as honorary pallbearers.

Gary had a deep and abiding love for the outdoors. Whether he was camping, fishing, exploring the wilderness on a hunting trip, or riding freely on his motorcycle, he found joy, peace, and connection in nature. His spirit, laugh, and heart touched many and will be remembered always.

A private viewing for immediate family will take place on Monday, June 16, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Santa Fe Funerals & Cremations.

Family and friends are invited to join in a celebration of Gary’s life at a rosary and funeral service on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at the Pecos Monastery.
