In Loving Memory of Jennifer Lynn Vigil
February 14, 1976 - March 23, 2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jennifer Lynn Vigil, a loving daughter, mother, sister, partner and friend.
Born on Valentine’s Day, Jennifer was truly her parents’ special Valentine from the very beginning. She carried that spirit of love with her throughout her life, sharing it generously with family, friends and anyone fortunate enough to cross her path. Her big heart and caring nature defined who she was; always putting others first and offering comfort, support, and compassion without hesitation.
Jennifer had a smile that could light up any room. It was a reflection of her inner joy and the genuine love she had for the people around her. Whether through laughter, kind words, or quiet acts of care, she had a way of making everyone feel seen and valued.
Growing up, Jennifer was incredibly athletic. She played volleyball, basketball, and ran track, always giving her all in everything she did. She was known for her competitive spirit and fearlessness, never backing down, even playing against the boys and beating them. The same strength carried into her personal life, where she was fiercely protective of her little brother, even stepping in without hesitation to defend him when someone was picking on him.
Above all, she was an extraordinary mother. Her children were the center of her world, and she devoted her life to loving, guiding, and supporting them. She always wanted what was best for her kids, and her strength, encouragement, and unwavering belief in them will remain a lasting gift.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents Remigio and Carlota Valencia, Rosa B. Vigil, and her brother Ralph Anthony Vigil, Jr.
She is survived by her parents Ralph and Mary Carmen Vigil; her daughter Hope Roybal; her son Darren Roybal; her partner Rick Sandoval and her niece Kayla Gallegos (Jose).
Jennifer leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and selflessness that will never be forgotten. Though she is no longer with us, the light she brought into this world will continue to shine in the hearts of those who loved her.
She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
