Obituary

John Anthony Titone was born in Washington, D.C., on November 29,1948, to Charles Titone and Helen Perry Titone. Soon after, the family moved to Floral Park, New York, where John grew up as the oldest of seven children.

From an early age, records and what they were played on interested him. He spent many hours building the collection he enjoyed throughout his life. John served in the Navy for three years as a Master Electrician on ships in the South China sea and surrounding waterways.

In his late twenties, John moved to New Mexico and made his home there for the rest of his life. He worked with Scott Rosenberg to build Rodeo Electrical Services in Santa Fe and continued to work there for thirty-five years.

John lived the life of his choosing and while making new friends in Santa Fe, maintained close relationships with his Long Island childhood friends throughout his lifetime.

John is survived by his siblings Mary Millican, Toni Titone, Al Titone and wife Sonnia, Kate Hendelman and husband Steve, Helene Smith and husband James, his nieces and nephews Krista Koller, Keira Smith, Reina Browne, Connor Millican, Carson Millican and his great niece and nephew Grayson and Aurora Browne.

John passed away on May 22, 2026. He will be missed by many. Santa Fe Funerals and Cremations will be handling the services to be held on Friday, June 26, 2026 at 10:00 am with burial to follow at Cementario de la Agua Fria.

Pallbearers: Al Titone, Ron Capollo, Tom DeStafano, Gerry Wawruk, Scott Rosenberg, Allen Ware
