J.R. Rodriguez Miranda

J.R. Rodriguez Miranda, 36 years old, resident of Santa Fe, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday
January 4, 2024. He was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico on 12/9/1987 to Cynthia Miranda, resident of
Santa Fe and Herbert Rodriguez, resident of Roswell New Mexico.

He was loved by so many. He was known for his big, caring and kind heart. He was always willing to
assist any and everyone with anything. He loved to cook and feed the people in his life that he loved. He
loved spending his free time at “the ranch” with Adrian and Loretta Chavez and his brothers and sisters
from his chosen family. He loved fishing and he held many different jobs. His favorite being an
electrician like his uncle Donny. Although, he did not have any biological children, he had many nieces,
nephews, and his friends’ children in his life that he thought of as his own and spoiled and helped raise.
He was preceded in death by his favorite uncle Daniel (Donny) Miranda, uncle Albert Miranda Jr, great
uncle Robert Sigala, great aunt Mary Sigala, and great grandmother Tillie Sigala and brother Gilbert
Rodriguez.

He was survived by his mother Cynthia Miranda, sister Geneva Juarez, brother Jessie Miranda, sister
Erica Rodriguez, niece Maricia Gallegos and little cousins Matthew Vigil, Alyssa & Xavier Vigil-Miranda whom he helped raise.

Public visitation will be on Saturday January 13, 2024 from 3:00pm-5:00pm in the Chapel at Santa Fe
Funerals & Cremation located at 1901 Siler Rd Ste A Santa Fe, New Mexico 87507. Serving as honorary
pallbearers are Chris Chavez, Daniel Gonzalez, Audrey Gonzalez, Aliana Gonzalez, Xavier Vigil-Miranda,
Alyssa Vigil-Miranda, Edward Martinez Jr, Angelo Levins, Christiana Levins, Nicolas Gallegos, Danielle
Garcia and many more nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.
