Kirti Singh Bajwa

Kirti Singh Bajwa passed away in peace on April 28 2025 in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA. He was born on May 23, 1943 in Itarsi , India and came to the United States as a young man in the late 1960 s. Kirti loved life and he never met a stranger. He could sit for hours and talk to someone about any subject and was always curious to know their story.

His first job in the United States was as a Computer Analyst with Continental Airlines. After many years working for Continental, Kirti decided to start working for himself. For the rest of his working career, he was self-employed and was involved in several different businesses. He was always coming up with new ideas for his next venture.

While living in Colorado Springs, Kirti and his wife Yvonne became involved with the Search and Rescue Dogs of Colorado (SARDOC). After training their own dogs, they and their two dogs participated in many search and rescue missions with several of the missions having a positive outcome.

He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 53 years, LaCretia Yvonne Bajwa. He is further survived by his older sister Satinder Sandhu; his brothers Manmohan “Gogi” Bajwa (Manreet) ; Gursharan “Buggie” Bajwa (Pinky); and was preceded in death by his parents Hira Singh Bajwa and Devinder Bajwa; and sister Amrit Kaur Virk. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces, along with countless friends who felt his warmth and generosity.
