Leroy John Riggs

Leroy J. Riggs (74) of Santa Fe, NM passed away peacefully at home on January 3rd, 2026. Leroy was a devoted & beloved Son, Brother, Uncle, Friend & Navy Veteran.

Leroy is preceded in death by his Mother Aurora A. Riggs, Father James Riggs, Biological Father Napoleon Ortiz, Brother & Sister-in-law Eddie & Ruth Ortiz, Niece Heather Ortiz & Nephew Dominic Uranga.

Leroy is survived by his Brothers Bob Ortiz (Marta), Mike Riggs, Joe Riggs (Tammy), Sisters Yvonne Riggs (Ramona), Yolanda Voyles (Vern), Shirley Riggs (Floyd), Brenda Montoya (Robert) & Julie Rico. As well as numerous Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephews, Great Great Niece, Great Great Nephews, Cousins and his beloved pets Scooby, Champ & Honey.

Leroy will be remembered for his warm smile, big heart & unwavering love for his family.

Services will be held on Friday, January 23rd, 2026 at Santa Fe Funeral & Cremations located at 1091A Siler Rd at 10:00am followed by a small reception. Private burial will be held at Rosario Cemetery at 1:00pm for immediate family members.
