Luanna Elizabeth Valdez was born on March 11, 1960, to her cherished parents, Louella Valdez and Lidoro Valdez. She grew up in New Mexico, surrounded by the love of her three brothers—Michael, Gary, and Robert—and her sister-in-law, Naomi.
In later years, Luanna made her home in Davis, Oklahoma, where she was blessed with a wonderful family of her own. She became the proud mother of two children: James Douglas Valdez of Davis,Oklahoma, and Audri Lynn Valdez of Davis,Oklahoma, as well as her son-in-law, James Jones.
Luanna's life was one of boundless compassion and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. She was known for her selflessness, always putting others’ needs before her own. Her kindness radiated, and her presence brought comfort and warmth to all around her. Above all, Luanna’s greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren. She leaves behind the legacy of being a proud grandmother to Ten grandchildren and a loving great-grandmother to two.
On July 16, 2025, Luanna was called to rest. While her physical presence is no longer with us, the love she shared, the laughter she brought, and the care she gave will forever live in the hearts of everyone who knew her. She will be dearly missed, fondly remembered, and always loved.
