Mark Jeffrey Bobchak

Mark Jeffrey Bobchak, 55, of Santa Fe, NM, passed away unexpectedly in Albuquerque, 

NM on June 9, 2024.

Mark Jeffrey, also known as Marky, Markie Mark or L.K., is preceded in death by his parents,

John and Connie Bobchak, brothers, Mark, Jeffery, Johnny Joe, and John Herman, paternal

grandparents John and Ellen Bobchak, and maternal grandparents Tony and Flora Rivera.

He is survived by his daughter Ellie Bobchak, brothers; Blaine Bobchak, James Bobchak (Rose),

sisters; Victoria Bobchak (Julian) and Suzanne Alba, nieces and nephews; Jina Bobchak, Zach

Bobchak, Melody Bobchak, Christian Andreychik, John Herman, Jr., Jo Anne Ciaccia (Al), Chris

Bennett (Bobbi Jo), and Jason Bennett. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and

cousins; with special acknowledgement to his aunts, Patsy Roybal, Gloria Apodaca, Marilyn

Rivera and uncle, Ray Rivera.

Mark was born in Santa Fe, NM on September 5, 1968 to John and Connie Bobchak. Mark

attended Santa Fe High School and graduated in 1986. Mark later graduated from the Santa Fe

Community College with an AA in Business. Mark had a passion for everything sports related

from cheering on his beloved Arizona Cardinals to collecting sports memorabilia. Mark was a

brother, uncle, and friend to many people and will truly be missed and remembered by all that

knew him.

Celebration of Life services will be held on July 8, 2024 at 12:00 noon for Mark and in

remembrance of his brother Johnny Joe who passed on November 5, 2020. Services will be at

Christian Life Church located at 121 Siringo Road, Santa Fe, NM 87505. Pallbearers are Carlo

Armendariz, Victor Montoya, Ronnie Roybal, Allen Rivera, Bobby Apodaca and Mikey Roybal.

A private burial will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank Santa Fe Funerals and

Cremations for their care and support in handling Mark’s remains.
