Patsy Bowles Baca

Patsy Bowles Baca 83 of Pecos, NM was called home by our Lord surrounded by her loving family on May 18, 2025, at Christus St. Vincent's Hospital in Santa Fe, NM.

Patsy was born on April 2, 1942, and was a Iifelong resident of Pecos, NM. Patsy was a beautiful, loving, and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Anyone that knew or met Patsy knew she was kind, always positive and gave of herself. She loved fashion, home interior, health, and music. She passionately supported her children and grandchildren in all their school and extracurricular activities and was always there to help when needed.

Patsy retired from the Department of Military Affairs after 25 years. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and was a member of the cemetery committee for many years.

She is preceded in death by her parents Andres and Lucia Bowles. Brothers Andy (Valentina), Johnny and Clyde Bowles, and special uncle and aunt Joe G. and Lala Bowles and grandson Kenny Lee Rougemount Jr.

She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years Fred Baca and children. Her sons Clarence Baca (Frances) of Rio Rancho, NM. Robert Baca (Berna) of Pecos, NM, daughter Angela Maes (Abe) of Pecos, NM, and daughter in law Connie Borrego of Pecos, NM. Her 13 Grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at St Anthony's Catholic Church in Pecos NM on Wednesday May 28, 2025. A visitation will be held at 8:30 AM, A rosary at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at St Anthony's Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are Abraham Maes, Clarence Dean Baca, Guillermo Castellano, Leo Baca, Clyde Bowles, and James Bowles. Honorary pallbearers are Johnny Bowles, Gene Martinez Jr., and her grandchildren and great grandchildren
