Victoria “Tori” Isabella Romero, 28 years old, passed away unexpectedly on June 4, 2026 at her home in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Victoria was born on January 2, 1998 in Santa Fe and graduated from Pecos High School in 2016. Since her graduation Tori worked in different careers in her short life time. From working at the local Dairy Queen during her high school years, starting her career with CYFD in their financial department, to finally working with the New Mexico Public Education Department as a senior paralegal for the Department of Education. Tori was known throughout Santa Fe for her intelligence, great sense of humor, confidence, and her love for her sons and others. Tori was an amazing mother to two wonderful boys, a big sister to her three sisters and brother, and a fearless daughter who was not afraid of any challenges in her life.
Tori is preceded in death by her Paternal Grandmother Delfina Roybal and her Grandfather Florentino Montano Jr.
Tori is survived by her two sons, Joshua and Niall Romero, of Santa Fe, her parents Rachel Roybal (Joseph Armijo), and Kevin Roybal (Victoria Roybal), sisters Angelique Roybal(CJ), Katelin Roybal (Santi), Cheyenne Armijo (Mel), and Jeremiah Casias. Aunts Karen Roybal (Jeff), Crystal Torrez (Francisco), Jessica Cardenas (Leroy), and Eva Valles. Grandparents Joe Mary Roybal and Emily Martinez.
Victoria leaves behind many cousins, friends, and extended family. Her services will be held on June 18, 2026 the Rosary is at 10am at the St. Anthothy’s Parish, followed by the mass and funeral at 11am.
Pallbearers: Matthew Montes, Orlando Vigil, Michael Valencia, Elias Armijo, Benito Armijo Jr., Dominick Lovato. Honorary pallbearers Arturo Montes and Jeremiah Casias.
